Danelec Nexus

To support the creation of engaging layouts, we make use of a shape derived from key features of the Danelec Brandmark, which features two interconnected shapes. We call it the Danelec Nexus.

Flowguide Brand Guidelines

It’s perfectly acceptable to use either solid colors or Danelec Meshes as backgrounds in a layout. Additionally, you can place the Danelec Nexus, which can incorporate the Danelec Mesh, be used with a solid color, or serve as a cropping frame for photos.

The exception to this rule applies to extreme aspect ratios. For instance, in a 2:1 aspect ratio with significant width, a more harmonious layout results from aligning the midpoint at the horizontal center and two-thirds up the vertical axis. The examples on the following page demonstrate effective use cases.

Good practice
When placing the shape, follow the rule of thirds by dividing your canvas into nine equal sections with two horizontal and two vertical lines. Position the narrow part of the shape (midpoint) at the intersection of these lines.

Don't rotate it, alter the angles or place images inside
- Alter the angles
- Place images inside that has many people or details

Danelec Pattern

Drawing inspiration from the curved form of the Danelec Brandmark, a dynamic pattern emerges that embodies a sense of motion and connectivity. This pattern serves as a tertiary graphic element, used for adding a recognizable texture or illustration to a surface.
